Individuals or groups may book special visits at mutually convenient dates and times. We set up in advance what suits their interests best. We encourage repeat visits to reinforce learning and to allow us to survey what people like and what works in our teaching practice.

Baan Dong Bang Museum and Education Centre has welcomed visitors since 2017. The warm encouragement of the Governor of Kalasin Province and District Chief Officer of Yang Talat gave it a flying start. We are a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving access to learning and enjoyment in the arts.
It houses a unique collection of Asian and European art and historical objects. The goal is to share the pleasure and fun of the collection. We seek to have visitors leave with a sense of enjoyment in arts and history. This is a museum with a difference. We try to connect with all visitors personally in open or pre-booked visits. The imagination to run galleries in new ways came from working in England and Germany. Here we ran community projects in arts with local people presenting art, history, architecture and music. This was supported by English Heritage, The National Trust, Tag des Offenen Denkmals RLP and the Council of Europe.
The museum welcomes visitors of all ages. Especially welcome are groups with physical disability, LGBT, sensory and learning difficulties. The spaces are designed for disabled access with room for a whole class. Live music, hands on object viewing and visitors’ own art creation are the daily norm, not the exception.
The centre welcomes repeated visits to improve engagement and learning, with a sense of value.
